I’m 16 years old and I’ve had a stutter on and off for my whole life My stutter comes and goes but this time it’s stayed for a significantly longer time than usual and I don’t see it going away any time soon. This is the worst it’s ever been and it’s starting to affect me pretty heavily mentally and I can’t stop obsessing over it every time I stutter. It’s getting to the point where I’m always stressed and anxious and I’m wondering if theirs a point in trying to get rid of it with speech therapy sessions as I have been going to them on and off my whole life and they’ve never really done much for me. Should I give it one last really good try or just focus on finding a way to be contempt with it and accept it as a part of my life?
