I’m sorry to hear that you suffer from a severe stutter as well but at the same time it’s so nice to hear I’m not alone in this. What do you do for work if you don’t mind me asking? I relate a lot, I rarely leave the house and have never been in a relationship. I thank the heavens I’m an introvert and good at entertaining myself from home because if I wasn’t I likely would be severely depressed as well. Mine started pretty young too, and like you it also has only seemed to get worse as I got older (which does to seem to be common for us blockers from what I’ve heard). I could barely get through school, and I really wish that I had been provided accommodation for it instead of my speech therapist and teachers trying to make me speak more (thinking it would help). I have a horrible memory from 7th grade where I had a give a presentation and I kid you not, I blocked on nearly every single word. A lot of stutterers are bullied but I never was because I think mine was so severe that other kids genuinely felt bad for me or saw me as a disabled kid they’d get in serious trouble for bullying. After that, I just never did any assignments that required presenting and would just accept an F.
