Yeah, I was thinking you could call back too. And this time say upfront that you have a stutter and that you'd like an in-person interview. I don't think there's anything wrong with saying "it's a minor disability, and I do much better in person." Doesn't matter if you'll do better in person or not (tho you probably would, it sounds like?) -- they should hear the word "disability" to make them nervous but not too nervous cause OF COURSE you don't let it get in your way; you'd just like the chance to talk again in person so they can see that you'd be a good fit for the job. You know if people aren't used to stuttering, they can think dumb things, right. So, you kind of have to set the tone, tell them what's going on, maybe fake a bit how "minor" a thing it is. Some people -- some -- will realize they should give you another chance.
