I agree and I’m in the same boat as you. Blocks, it gives me anxiety, makes me want to never talk to new people, I bomb interviews and don’t get the jobs I want even though I know I’m a great candidate. But please don’t get stuck in this negative mindset. You CAN do whatever you want to do—just maybe not be a professional speaker. You will just need to grind and hustle more than someone else who can speak fluently. I might be lucky, but I am grateful for not giving up and now I am in a good place. Have lots of great friends, a girlfriend way out of my league, and job prospects. And I’m ugly and not that smart. It can happen and you just need to keep going and keep working.
