Take a step back and realize this is a great opportunity to learn what the class is there to teach you- solving problems that might occur in real companies. Definitely inform your professor- perhaps you'll come up with a fair grading scheme. But overall you should take the chance to practice and learn without having huge sweeping consequences for failing.
