I’ve stuttered my entire life and was floored when my daughter (5) began to stutter. I don’t want her to experience the same torment I experienced when I was kid. Especially in today’s environment where silencing bully who has been tormenting you for months - with a well placed uppercut- is frowned upon. If they can’t open their mouth anymore- the tormenting stops, right? The 80’s and 90’s were different. My daughter will be starting speech therapy assessments through our school system soon.
