Agreed. It also works directly against some tactics used in bargaining. When auto salespeople are trying to sell you a car at a high price, there are two tactics. One, rush through it, or two, tire you out. Stuttering completely negates the first one, and the second tactic is a lot weaker because it can take a long time - but it's on our terms, not theirs.
