My wife's from a devout Catholic family from Puerto Rico and she has been stuttering since she was 5 and she is still a believer and doesn't blame God for her speech. She embraces her faith. I'm Polish Catholic (but I'm not religious, which kinda annoys my in-laws ;) but I certainly respect those who are faithful (as well as those who aren't).
