When I tell people I have a speech impediment and they respond with "oh, I've never noticed it" or "oh, I wouldn't have known if you didn't tell me". These comments make me really happy. Or when I am on the phone with people that know about my speech impediment and they tell me that "I didn't stutter at all on the phone" after the phone call. The same comment for fluent presentations as well.
