Questions about stuttering support groups

Questions about stuttering support groups So I'm looking at groups through the WeStutter website. It seems like these are the most common. Open to suggestions for others. My questions are: Has it been a positive influence for you? What do you talk about? Is it for more severe stutters or does it run the gamut? I'm not really sure what I'm looking to get out of the group but I feel it may be good to around other people that understand what it's like to stutter. I've been thinking pretty negatively about my stutter lately and it's been like 12 years since I've talked to another stutterer.
