Thank you for your reply and sharing your experience, I really appreciate it. It makes me happy to hear that you are at peace with your stutter. If someone does not accept you for who you are it is their loss, not yours. I should have mentioned that he has asked me to help him because he is unsure as to where to start looking for help. I have always told him that I have no issues with his stutter, to me he is so perfect. I help him any way that I can. I usually do things like phone calls and drive thru orders because those really frustrate him.. but at the same time I feel like I am not helping by doing it for him... if that makes any sense. Would you think that our first step is to go to a speech therapist? Or do we have to go elsewhere first? I find that there is not much information for adults as there is for children.
