Most of the time my stutter is fairly mild, but like many people it is worse when I'm anxious. I was taking venlafaxine for about two years for anxiety and depression. I stopped taking medication about a year ago, and I've definitely noticed an increase in my stuttering since being off the medication. This is just my personal experience, but if it's possible for you to see a doctor, I think it might be worth talking to them about.
