I worked in a call center for almost two years. At the time, I was decent at hiding my disfluencies by substituting words. The problem was that at this job there were certain very technical terms that I could not avoid saying. It was a little awkward at times and stressful, but overall not a bad experience. I'm actually a speech pathologist now, ironically enough.
