I have a moderate to severe stutter in high anxiety situations. I was in missile defense in the Army for about 5 years. Other than the constant joking around about the stutter and calling me, "PVT stutters," it wasn't bad at all. Leadership understands, and if you're lighthearted about it (you're all in the suck together) you'll be fine. The best friends I've ever made was during my short stint in the Army. Use the skills you get while in, and transfer them to the outside world when you're done. I've been contracting with the company that makes the missile system I work on for 3 years now, and wouldn't trade that time I did in the Army for anything. If you have any questions or need any help with anything, feel free to message.
