I had my fair share of embarrassing moments so I know how you feel. But, maybe if you see it this way, it can help you out. The urge to stop talking comes from the feeling that we are embarrassing ourselves in front of other people and the burden of "how will they react? will they think I am a fool?", etc. But the only type of person that would react in a way that makes you feel bad is, ultimately, a bad kind of person. With that being said, we have a hidden advantage - we can locate and walk away from toxic, rude individuals right away. That kind of character, for example, would be also rude to the waiter at a restaurant, it's ultimately not about you, he/her is just a nasty person that does not deserve your words and attention. And most people can't spot those toxic traits right away and go and involve themselves in different kind of relationships, careers and friendships with them and regret many years later. So, anyone that is inconsiderate, laughs, or makes you feel bad or unworthy is just truly showing his/her true colors from the first minute of your interaction and you don't need that person in your life :) Your voice matters and you have a lot to say, so don't ever feel like being less then others and don't ever consider to be done with talking. Keep the toxic people away and stay strong 🎈
