Hello! I haven't received or tried to receive accommodations through disability services, mostly because I never knew that was a possibility for stutterers. It does seem really helpful, though. For the past two years, I've been saying a little disclaimer before my presentations in front of the professor and other students by telling them that I stutter and to please excuse me if it flares up. So far, it has helped a lot. Everyone has seemed very understanding and my professors do not mark my grade down for my delivery or fluency. Although, I do imagine that telling your professors at the beginning of the semester is more practical in case any of them think you are making excuses or anything like that.
