100%! Everything you just said I competely agree and resonate with. NOT caring is hard at first, but in time, and with practice, it will be so liberating. Stuttering is only a problem because we care about what our thoughts are telling us about what others might think of us. Take that out of the equation and you'll be living so much more happier. As long as the fear remains, the stutter will always be a problem. >I remember days where the first thing I would think about in the morning was stuttering and now I hardly think about it at all, even if I do still stutter sometimes. Same! I still stutter at times. But I also believe that stuttering becomes a speech pattern, just like how people can't stop saying "like..." every few words, of "f\*ckn" every few words. It has become so part of the normal way of speaking, that it also takes times and effort to 're-wire' the brain to choose to NOT stutter.
