This is interesting because it’s not my experience. I stutter regardless of other peoples speech. I even stutter when I’m alone (learning with Pimsleur Method). The weird thing for me is that when people who used to stutter get around me, sometimes they will start again. I feel a little bad about it too, but I know none of it is on purpose.
