I have a 13 year old and his stuttering is mild to severe. So very proud of him. He gets services through school and they encourage him to own his stuttering. Advocate for himself and educate prone. My child is one of the most confident, intelligent child in his group of friends. He is very social and absolutely ignores anyone who says anything about his speech. We have no stutters in our family and he is the first one.  People needs to raise confident kids with or without stutter.
