> What if they still won't choose me? I may think maybe it is because of my speech? An employer will realise that you stutter no matter what. Telling them yourself right off the bat makes the best impression. Of course this worn't guarantee that you get the job, but I believe it's the absolute best you can do in your situation. Keep your hopes up, there's plenty of employers who worn't care about your stutter. All you can do it is to acknowledge it, and then work from there. You should really try and tell them every time you get interviewed. It's a very personal thing you're opening up to them about. I genuinely believe that many employers will see that, and respect it. > there's always someone better and more experienced who can speak better so how am I supposed to get a job? Your stutter is part of you, but it's not all there is to you. Not that a by long shot. You're an honest and mature individual for starters. Opening up to people, even if it's on the internet, is not easy. You clearly have the ability to explain how your stutter makes you feel, so use that in real life. Like I suggested before, bring your honesty with you in life. Eventually you'll start to project confidence despite your stutter. > Did you tell her? Tell her? As in I told her beforehand? No, we knew each other before, and never had a first formal introduction or "date". We just hooked up and the rest is history.
