I used to want to be a police woman when I was older, but at a career thing I was speaking to a policeman as you do and he asked my name (which I struggled with). "eh-eh-eh.." to him was Emma. My name is nowhere near Emma so I continued and he laughed at me and asked if I knew my own name. It was such a kick in the teeth. I'm so glad you have the confidence to do what you do, I'm so inspired. It must be challenging, I think the world needs more officers like you. Thank you for your post it's given me a lot to think about.
