That’s bullshit, I’m sorry that’s been your experience. I haven’t had to do any interviews since acquiring my fun stutter (lol, it’s lame af and disfluencies present in every word basically, sups cool), but I’m also not afraid of making people aware that they need to accommodate what is within the range of normal. But also, fuck that shit cause do you really wanna work for companies that discriminate like that? Oh, I make people uncomfortable with my stutter if they’re being dicks. I have zero chill and no shame (a side effect of gaining a stutter as an adult who’d already done years of therapy), especially during dating and finding friendships. We all are deserving of people who respect us and I refuse to let people make me feel uncomfortable for something outside of my control.
