Did anyone else only started stuttering right after the covid lockdowns were lifted or because they spent too much time in isolation? For context: Stuttering was never an issue for me until a few years ago after the Covid lockdowns were finally lifted and when it was time to go back to school. It didn’t help that I had OCD which just fixated on the stutter, tried to make it better but it ended up worse. I became more anxiously aware of it and I started to have a lot of blocks in between conversations and now it’s been 4 years. It sucks because no matter how hard you’re trying to speak perfect or stretch out your words slowly, the block will still manage to creep in somewhere in the conversation and even if my convo somehow goes spontaneously, I still end up dragging the last words and it’s hard to control my face. It’s like a lose-lose situation.
