hey! I'm 18 and I feel the same way too. one thing that has helped me is taking a deep breath before talking. and swallowing often. ik it's kinda weird but it does help. and uk that there are some words that u r bound to get blocks uk it whilst u r speaking. so b4 that word ot that syllable comes up, stop and take a deep breath, swallow and say it. u gotta practice speaking slowly. its very tiring. but you gotta do what u have to. be patient with yourself. in a way stuttering has helped me to organize my thoughts and helped me become a person who doesn't just blurt out sentences. keep fighting!
