the game is cuphead. when you lose a level, there’s usually a joke or rhyme displayed on this screen. of course it’s open to interpretation but i see this as reinforcing the idea that stuttering is something to be laughed at. it’s a tired ass old joke that i’ve always hoped would die out, but there’s still remnants of it throughout media and it’s disappointing.
