It is a bit more complicated than that. I was hoping to provide some quick advice, but i realize i might have suggested something that I don't have time to explain in detail due to time. Stutters need to do a lot more than that to manage their stutter (there is no cure). The advice I gave was just one piece of the program that I learned to help manage my own stutter. Maybe re-read my previous comments and hopefully you can figure out the point I was trying to make. I'm not sure if I can reword it any better.
