First, congrats on the new job! Clearly you did something right and no one on your team at work cares about your stutter - they hired you after all! Second, yes this blows and I’m sorry to hear it happened. What kind of block? Lips (like on M words) or throat tightening? What works for me is using synonyms for words I know I’m going to stutter on. Some people like that technique and others think it’s a cop-out (to each their own). However, I know there are no synonymns for your name. Just relax and remember as previously mentioned, any decent human isn’t going to give two shits about your stutter.
