Is it biased? (rejection) So, I am attending a university and I had applied for a Teaching Assistant (required to have certain English speaking score) I am one point short. I was even recommended by a professor. The reply I got:- "You do not have the required English score , nor have you completed 15 hours at university." (My friend with eligible English score enrolled to the university with me only, and has the same completed credit hours, he didn't get any such mail about the 15hr credit requirements) "You will have completed the 15 hours by end of Fall, but will need to retake the English in order to qualify for Spring 23 TA." After this, I replied mentioning I have a stutter and I am just a point short. It's been 15 days, I never got a response back. (The friend had mailed just after my mail, he got the reply instantly) Is it being fair? Or I am just thinking too much and I don't deserve it. I need honest feedback.
