What do you think is the source of your stutter? I think I know mine Been doing a lot of reflection on my childhood and been hearing other family member’s perspectives. I grew up in an oppressive environment where i couldn’t speak up. Even at home, I have parents who would scream literally at the top of their lungs at me regularly when I a child all the way to when I was college aged, hours on end, no matter how I cried or what I said, they wouldn’t stop screaming. No matter how sad and angry I was, I couldn’t say anything. I don’t think my stutter is physical, it’s psychological. I’m glad there’s nothing physically wrong with me, but I’m also frustrated that it will take a lot of digging and healing to get better. Almost poetic how my past manifested in me as a stutter. When you try to find the source, do you have anything similar? Or is it just me?
