You have to embrace it.. The sooner you do the better. It would drive me insane if I thought about my stuttering that hard lol. 😂 It may get better as you age. I got my stuttering upgrade at age 33 lmao I don't stutter as much as i did when i was in my teens or 20's My blocks actually calmed down too.. What i did to make myself feel better about my stuttering is... Getting a thesaurus and learning harder and more prestigious words. It made me seem like the most intelligent person in the room during social events. I did this deliberately to challenge the notion that people that stutter are mentally inferior. This made my stuttering look like a slight glitch in my voice box.. For the longest I never admitted that I stutter. I said things like i have previous injuries from a car collision 💥 Only because I saw how telling people i Stutter/Stammer made me seem subhuman. They tried to always associate my speech impediment to a mental disorder. I would then have to fight for my equal rights.. They would treat people with birth defects better than another protected class of people.
