A different angle, but try having the recorder on for an hour each morning when you're doing your daily things, talking to yourself, be aware it's there but don't pressure yourself into talking to it. Just do your stuff, chat away to yourself, listen to the recording. Maybe try this for a few hours a day, and even practice what you're going to say while you're doing other things, with the recorder on. Skim your notes and read along with them casually while having a coffee/watching TV with the recorder on. What I find is I put so much pressure on myself when I'm being recorded/on the phone etc which is why I thought maybe making it a more casual thing (for practicing anyway) might help?
