For a different perspective: It's not that we're _bad_ at speaking, and it's not that we have to _train_ to speak better. It's that we have a _stutter_, which gets in the way _when_ we speak. - Speaking faster might make a difference for some of us. In general, switching to a different mode of performance can have that effect, but not necessarily persistently. So, perhaps speaking faster will make a difference to you. Whether or not it will improve your speech over time, that's an open question.
