Something similar happened to me as well. A few years ago, I could speak better, more fluently, and almost without blocks. Sometimes I had spasms, but it was minimal. Starting last year, it began to get worse to the point where it was hard for me to read (something I used to enjoy doing in class). Nowadays, every time I enter the classroom, my heart races, and I’m always worried about what might happen. I’ve also noticed that your mood plays a role—the sadder and more stressed you are, the worse you speak—but with a stutter, it’s tough.
