Scared to apply for jobs For people who have a stutter how do you do it (office work, specifically like answering calls and stuff). So I’ve never worked before and I’m applying to apprenticeships (Administration) and in the ‘skills required’ section every time I see something I know will have me stuttering I just don’t apply for it. For example “presentation skills” “verbal communication skills” … yeah absolutely not. And I know it’ll be hard for me when I start working because tbh I’m an awkward and nervous person, so it all just adds up and tends to make me stutter and worry more. Another thing, not diagnosed but I’m pretty sure I have social anxiety and I’m most likely to be working with adults that are older than me (17M) so I’m nervous as shit.
