What you see are a lot of carefully planned speeches. He rehearses his speeches and comments a lot and intentionally picks words or phrases that are easier for him. If you watch him, a lot of his pauses are probably blocks. If you notice his spontaneous comments, he often stops and changes his words to avoid stuttering in public. That strategy is definitely NOT recommended by SLPs since it’s exhausting and can increase anxiety.
