Have you ever tried giving people a heads up that you stutter? That’s what I usually do when I have to address a crowd and it does help me to see that I tell people this about me and they still want to hear me. It doesn’t have to be a long explanation or anything, just be like “this is how I talk, if at any point you don’t understand what I said feel free to say so” and you move on, I have found out that people respect that.
