I think for me it's when someone says "but your stutter is cute!" When I voice my struggle around it. I don't think it's wrong to think stuttering is cute or anything and I fully believe you can think that. But to me it's not like a silly quirk I have. It's like a genuine thing that I have to consider before doing social things. I actively have to plan my day in a way and prepare dialogues for specific interactions. And it can be mentally draining to want to communicate a certain way but you just can't? I know they don't understand but. Man.
