I think everyone is aware of these things, because everyone wants to sound smart and fluid when they're speaking, but I think our situation makes us *hyper* aware of how we sound and how the words are coming out. I know even if I have a conversation where I didn't stutter, but I do maybe trip over a word or I think I sounded awkward, I'll replay that conversation over and over in my head for day and days, sometimes weeks. It really tears me apart sometimes.
