Being upfront about my stutter in interviews? Hey everyone, First-time poster here and would love to get everyone's opinions about a topic. I have/had a stutter since elementary school and tried everything to help it. It went away for a good amount of time but came back in high school and still have it to this day. People get the misconception that I stutter because I am nervous but that is not that case and quite frankly I do not know what the cause of it is. I just recently graduated with my master's a few weeks ago and going to be on the job hunt and couldn't be any more excited about it. My question to you is how would you approach job interviews with a stutter? I think it is obvious that I stutter and they will figure it out but I do not want them to think it is due to me being nervous or anything like that. Would you address my stutter at the start of an interview? Thank you everyone for the help!
