Yes, I completely grew over stammering when I was around 8-9 at the time, never got over the blocking, my throat just decides it doesnt feel like talking rn, and suddenly it looks like I'm having some kind of seizure, had 5+ years of speech therapy with 3 different logopedists , didn't really help me. I hope we'll grow over it some day but until then know that you are not alone in this. Some things that I have noticed: Whispering completely takes it away in my experience, so if you are stuck on something for 30+ seconds it might be a last resort worth considering. I block way less when I'm with friends than with family/school/work clients etc. The worst is when people ask you what you just said, and you suddenly can't say it anymore.
