i keep getting stuck on my words and stuttering?

i keep getting stuck on my words and stuttering? this is something that’s only started happening a few months ago, and has been getting worse. the stutter is straight forward; i keep saying the same part of a word over and over without my control. but i also keep getting stuck on words. it’s not like a “tip of tongue” thing, because i know the word i’m trying to get out, but my brain and mouth just won’t move past the first letter, so my mouth is just kind of stuck in the shape of the start of the word for a bit before i can get it out. does anyone know why this would have started so suddenly?
