Yes...but I couldn't articulate that. One of the side effects of my stutter has been that I lose my train of thought when I get conscious of my stutter. Started taking SSRI last year and honestly, it has helped me so much (NOTE: I'm not a doctor so kindly consult one). I'm 41M so what I've read is that _ideally_ it should be given to ppl over 24 yrs of age (but apparently they also prescribe them for children 🤷♂️). And I'd never say that the answer is just as simple as taking a pill, but it has helped me with my confidence. Used to say in my head "so what if I stutter" but now I simply feel that. Anyway, hope my experiences help. Stuttering is a very complex issue and analyzing it honestly, made a difference for me. The first thing I heard from a PWS was that, Stuttering is _also_ a physical reflex that we have learnt subconsciously. It's our body trying to stop us from talking because it has learnt that talking will result in embarrassment. We need to unlearn this slowly and realize that the "stutter" is actually trying to help us. Once I made sense outta that, it really helped as well ✌️🙏
