Hello, stutterer here. I started working as soon as I got out of high school due to family requirements, I didn't go to college, I had to work. And since I wasn't qualified for much, all I had was work where i would be required to talk and all I had going for me was that I could understand and speak English well (not my first language). And of course, without much choice I worked at a call center where i had to sell stuff 😭 it was very obvious I stutter but people thought i just fumbled here and there lol they didn't know I was literally living my nightmare. But anyhow I persevered through it. For 6 months I did that stuff. Spoke to customers in two languages. While on call, My go to for stuttering less has always been ( I don't know much about your job profile but since i had to do sales) 1) I always had the first half of my speech memorised, and if I'm reading i don't stutter. 2) acting like you're someone else. 2) a hydrated mouth. My stuttering has lessened over the years, i still work in the same industry. And i have an interview tomorrow but it's for a chat process haha.
