Well I was set on being a technical writer but now with ChatGPT coming around I feel like my career path isn’t going to even exist in 10 years. I know if I was an all-star programmer or something then I’d get hired but I’m not exactly an outlier with any of that. It almost feels like we need two subreddits. I can’t relate to minor stutterers. I’m a 23 year old man who can’t say his name and can’t order food at a drive through. I don’t think that’s remotely close to someone who has minor syllable repetitions, it’s just a totally different experience. Seems like someone who stutters as severely as I do doesn’t have much of a chance of doing anything worthwhile with their lives.
