Just to clarify...I couldn't find the TA requirements. I messaged you my university name as well. >Yeah, I got that joke thing but still when I know I am talking to the person who is responsible for assigning TAs and he is like I am unaware about the committee and your best bet is the governor I see... it's sad that not many know about the stammering issues and organizations aren't accommodative. This is why I sometimes felt before as well that stammering should be considered in the list of disabilities.... atleast it would help in creating awareness and people in need can be automatically helped instead of having to be aware of all kinds of technicalities for TOEFL or trying so hard to get an exemption for roles like TAs. I had the worst experience in a job interview process(group discussion) where I was ridiculed(over a zoom meeting) because the other person didn't know I had a stammering problem. Just found this sub...planning to make a post on it soon.
