Stuttering is a weird and complex disability because our speech orignates in our brain. So far research has taught us that PWS the wiring is the speech portion of ur brains have been wired wrong at birth. So when a person starts to speak at around 18 to 24 months and been diagnosed with a stutter the majority of should have there stutter gone by around age 5. If not those tend to be life stutters. But even though you were born and were fluent and get some type of head trauma you could develop a stutter. There have been reported cases if you had a stroke you could as well develop a stutter. Taking medications. Events that effect the brain. Keep in mind that medical sciences have not fully learned everything about the human brain. It is the reamaining body part to be figured out. OP, have you been a stutterer since birth?
