What’s the worst that can happen? You can’t say anything? Okay, then it’s temporary awkwardness and embarrassment, something we’re used to. You move on to the next college interview. Never dread on the situation, simply learn from it and keep your foot on the gas. Practice makes “perfect”. Exposure and always facing our fears is vital for us. If we let our stutter take the wheel, regret is going to hurt like a bitch when we get older. Your thoughts are normal and we would all love to avoid a possible uncomfortable situation, but you have to keep putting yourself out there and living your life. I used to avoid everything I possibly could, which dug a deeper hole for myself and it was much worse for my mental health. Reschedule the interview, be confident and whatever happens happens. At least you tried, while a lot of others wouldn’t. Smiling/smirking when I talk helps a lot with my blocks. Try and have fun with it, it’s not that serious. Good luck my friend.
