No, I have not told them about my stutter. I have only recently discovered the great Stutter With Confidence podcast and I am still quite scared of disclosing my stuttering. To be honest I have no idea what kind of impact disclosure can have in a workplace as I have worked for almost 3 years during my studies and never disclosed my stuttering even if it was obvious and was never asked about it once. Therefore, I have kept my old "strategy" in interviews as well. With regard to the position, I will be working in the M&A/Capital Markets department which if I am correct is considered the front office. There will definitely be some client exposure once they teach me the ropes. Initially, I think I won't be required to speak too much and in general, I think I will spend the vast majority of my time sitting behind a screen doing models and PPTs :) The confidence issue is a big one. What helps me with my confidence is knowing that the delivery, i.e. fluency, is only one part of a good answer. The more crucial one is a deep understanding of the problem. I am quite confident in interviews because I know I understand the problems well. Many other candidates do not.
