Deliberately stutter. It's better to stutter than to block completely. My name begins with a B and I find it difficult to say it without getting a block. I have various tricks like never saying the problem word first in a sentence. If someone asks for my name, I'll say "My name is ____". Proper nouns cannot be avoided so those trip me up. I can usually find a synonym for any other type of word.
