What is the general attitude towards stuttering in your country/culture? I live in the north east region of the US (near New York) and have been outside the country a couple times (France, Austria, Canada, Brazil) but didn’t really speak much. I’ve found that the general attitude towards stuttering around me is pretty accepting with the occasional bully or impatient person. Since I haven’t had much experience with stuttering overseas, my question is what is the general attitude towards stuttering in your country/culture?
